Dr. Lisa Wenninger (she/her) has a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Antioch University. This doctorate focused on pedagogy, instructional design, and the training and clinical supervision of mental health counselors from a social justice perspective. Her dissertation was on the emotions of antiracism in white women counselors. Dr. Wenninger has a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Northwestern University and an MBA from Columbia University. She holds a license to practice mental health counseling in California, Washington, Idaho, and Virginia.
Dr. Wenninger is founder and executive director of Resonant Equity, Inc., a nonprofit formed with the mission of breaking down barriers in counseling. An initiative of Resonant Equity is Resonant Counseling which provides supervised training experiences for practicum and internship students and associates and offers low-fee and pro bono individual and group counseling.
